Park Eun Wook (Lee Dong Wook) works as a doctor in Hanoi where he falls in love with a Vietnamese girl, Ly Thi Vu (Kim Ok Bin). Due to his father's sudden death, he returns to Korea in a hurry, but his message isn't delivered to Thi Vu, so she thinks he left her.

Eun Wook's elder brother, Park Sok Woo (Lee Won Jong) being pressured from his mom goes to Vietnam to find a wife, and ends up bringing Thi Vu to Korea with intention to marry her.

Song Il Lan (Yoo Hye Jung) is Sok Woo's childhood friend and she realizes that she was in love with him all the time... it turns out Sok Woo has similar feeling for her too.

When the misunderstanding between Eun Wook and Thi Vu gets clarified, his mother brags in. She thought Thi Vu was going to be her first son's wife, but doesn't think she is good enough for her second son, since he is a doctor. Thi Vu is hurt by that and returns to Hanoi. Eun Wook's mom realises her mistake, but it's already to late. Eun Wook still doesn't give up, and so goes back to Hanoi to search for her.

I haven't seen Lee Dong Wook since watching My Girl, and though he isn't really my ideal type of guy, but I like his big eyes, warm smile.. and those lips~. See what I mean?  ^.^

While watching this drama special, I had a bit the feeling that his role, Eun Wook isn't the main cast. The focus is more on Thi Vu, and Sok Woo. While that was a bit strange, I liked the story. No matter how banal it seems, if love wins at the end, I become a fan of it. :3

Then for last a bit of information for those who didn't know (I didn't know eather, till searching for it on the net): Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. October 2010 will mark 1000 years of the establishment of the city... I find it quite interesting that the capital of Vietnam is about the same age as my town.
