Mia is torn between Lilly wanting to make her school president, Michael, who may want to Do It with her, the fact that she may caused her country to get kicked out of the EU, and a B on her English report... ( This is just bad, Bad, BAD!!! )AGH, I'm so frustrated!!! Can't sleep at all. So I checked out the new Gaki no Tsukai Batsu Game variety. ^.^ This time they are in a hotel... there was already a great part where a woman from Takarazuka Revue called Endo Endoré (close to André). X3 I thought I fall from my seat hearing that! XDXDXD Tags: book, fun, gaki no tsukai, j-tv variety, thoughts

Since yesterday morning I'm though 3 books by Meg Cabot already. It does make the day less boring. ^^ Thanks again to Minami to lending me the books! ^^ All American GirlThis was rec-ed to me by mishane . The story is about the teen Sam Madison, suffering from the pain of being the middle sister, and her only shelter is her interest in art. By some crazy coincidence stops an assassin, and so saves the life of the American President. From then on her life turns upside down, and she begins to see more than just her sisters boyfriend, thanks to David, the son of the President... While I didn't find any of the characters good enough to become a fan, I must say: the basic idea is pure genius. Avalon HighDue to Ellie's parents getting a sabbatical year they move to another town, and she gets enrolled in Avalon High. There she meets a bunch of people that just every high-school has: Lance the hunky footballer, Marco the troublemaker, Jennifer the gorgeous cheerleader and her boyfriend Will - the most handsome guy Ellie's ever seen. Not only the name of the school hints that these people have some connection with the Arthur legend, and it seems Ellie has a part in it too. A shame, that nobody gave her the script for it before... This was just crazy. With the 'Order of the Bear' thinking that the Arthur legend gets reincarnated; Mr. Morton spreading the news to Will's stepbrother, Marco, that he is the evil counter-part, in the never-ending play of good and bad... Yeah Mr. Morton, great acting!... As a teacher, an 'intelligent grown up' you 'rule'. This is the kind of thing you should tell to a guy, who is under mental break-down from the stress at home, and in the shadow of his step-brother already. *head-shoot* Looking up on Meg Cabot I couldn't really find any info, if she has brothers or sisters, but anyone who has, KNOWS that any story, may it be a legend, or a tale about sibling-wars is TRUE. It's actually a given fact, since siblings are the closest you can get to another... naturally that they will fight against each other. The way her books are written, it seems like her characters don't understand why there is stress among them. Like they were not even living together for 15-or-so years already. It makes me somewhat tired to read parts like that. ~.~" The Princess Diaries - Give me FiveThis was what I read first thing in the new year... well, it barely was the reason I was awake, that's for sure. Cause reading 238 pages about how a self-centered teen wants to go to the prom and does everything to make her poor boyfriend go with her is really not how I imaged my first day of the year. ~~" Not to say the way Lilly's awakened desires was showed... like she is some sex-driven whore in one minute, and - after her ex-boyfriend almost broke up his head with a globe - then crying, wanting Boris back in the second wasn't really a good way to make her character shine. Thinking back now, I really don't understand why I even liked the first book of this story. There I still had the feeling of reading the diary of an unique teen, who is forced into strange situations, but tries to handle it the best she can. It was funny, and she even seemed to have some girl-power - that I just adore. The only spark I saw was that moonstone birthday gift she got for Michael in the 4th volume, but that was it. Now Mia goes more and more back in line, like those 'kya-kya' cheerleaders she didn't want to take after. Tags: book, thoughts

First of all, I wish all of you: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! WELCOME in the YEAR OF THE TIGER!!! Did you know that in 2010 Chinese New Year begins on the 14th February? We should make a visit to the Zoo like last time. Who knows, maybe this time I will pick the animal of the year. ^^ How did your new year's eve go? As for me I spent it with friends. It was by Ani-chan with Minami, her boyfriend and brother, Benyó, Sol, my brother and me. After dinner we watched The Boat that Rocked - and I still say, that film RLZ!!!... only don't watch the bonus for the dvd X_x - and already it was the end of the day. We had champagne, and then little fireworks, just like last year. ^^ ( More fireworks pictures ^^ )Watched some stand up: Stephen Lynch... and John Pinette. That guy is really great, if you ask me! X3 A good way to begin the new year. ^^ Watched the first Sailor Moon movie too. Made me sooo nostalgic! I'm still more in love with the German song by the end, no matter how much I love Japanese in general. It can be, cause I heard that one before, but don't really think so. That lyrics of the German version is just more catchy. Another anime Ani-chan showed was a part of Sol Bianca. I think I heard the title somewhere before, but never had the chance to see. Woman pirates, and mecha... quite an interesting combi... but I just don't like how they mix mechanics with mystic. One some level I could even go with the fact, that one of the girls is somehow a part of the ship, and can so manipulate it. But then to see a big goddess-hologram, using their ship as an arrow-head as the ship's attack... that was to much. Maybe I was so critic, cause it WAS late... Now that we talk about that, everyone in the group wished for rest, so I went to bed too at about 4... though not to sleep. Somehow I couldn't. Not that I didn't try... but somehow every time I closed my eyes, in the next moment I just automatic opened them. So I decided to read the 5th book of Princess Diaries (my thoughts on it will come tomorrow), sadly it didn't take up enough time. So as I listened to Sol's snoring on the other side of the room, it made me remember my grandfather. He was a really great man, who showed me the way to love dogs. I even tried to think about an old story of mine, that came back to me after some random happenings in my life, and thanks to City Hall. ^^ How I see it, it really has potential, now if only I could write it down. ^^" ( On the way home ^^ )At about 10 then everyone woke up, and we went home. I arrived at about half 12. Ate lentils (tradition, to have money in the new year), then went to bed. Still couldn't sleep though, so I read Avalon High by Meg Cabot. Had one of my dreams of having a picture with all my dogs half fulfilled (I wanted one, where we are all sleeping). ^^ ( My Dogs <3 )Really cute, don't you think? ^^ If asleep, they are way more cute though. ^.^ For the end, I want to write my new year resolutions, plans... name it how you want. In no special order: - sport - I still need to find one that helps me lose weight, and become more fit, the diet helped some, but isn't a solution in the long run
- learning kanji, and make at last a basic Japanese test by the end of the year
- travel to Japan
- save up money - naturally for the trip, any extra I should need this year, and to make mom more relaxed
- sign-language - actually thanks to my dad, I have the possibility to learn it free (or cheep at last), so I only need to look up when the courses begin, and fix it into my work-day somehow
- looking up any other chances for qualifications
- find a good library and enroll
- call my friends over to an overnight party
- take up novel and story-writing again
- <qualified> - cause it's just embarrassing... if it works out though, I'll report it right away ^^
- go to the Zoo on 14th February to make pictures with the animals from the Chinese horoscope
- be more understanding
- if Mero feels better, go to a belly dance course with her
- collect the missing Poirot dvd episodes
- sort though my old CD collection
I think this list will go on some more, as I remember things to do. Some will be easy, some harder, but I still think, writing it down helps to achieve them. ^^ Tags: *pictures, anime, book, dogs, dream, holiday, john pinette, list, news-mix, programs, sailor moon, stephen lynch, thoughts, ukmovie, weather

Last time I thought that the 3rd book was the low point. Apparently I made a mistake. >___< Mia gets more and more self-centered and hypocrite along the story, while Lilly and even Michael play the role of second violin. You know what really disturbs me? That I don't see any character development from Mia, but more of a retrograde. At last in the movie she grows up a little, and even has a quite good level up in speeches. In the book series though, I don't see anything from that. Oh, and just a side note: just cause someone writes in a diary all the time doesn't mean she/he is talented in writing at all! Thanks for your last comment, mishane , I've got All American Girl and Avalon High borrowed from Minami too, so I'll read them next. ^^ In other news in short, since it's late: - had work today - my boss wrote me what I get as Christmas present - something to look forward to ^^ - someone stood me up... - ...so I waited in the West End for 2 hours for nothing - the last meet before Christmas was AWESOME!!! - the honey-cake I made yesterday as a present seemed to be a hit, which in turn made me happy ^^ (recipe comes later) - the sweets from others was more sweeter than my own could ever be - thank you so much to Kriszti and tirildahl , everything was great! Not to talk about kawaii_miisha 's egg-nog. ^____^ - the other presents I've got where great too... I've never ever seen a plush ice cream in my life before!!! O__o It's really so very cute!!! Thanks so much, luluko !!! - while I was there in the WestEnd - from 14.30 till 21.30 - it snowed... - so naturally the MÁV was late with the trains again. At first we were not even sure with suzimi if it will even start. And the workers there didn't seem to know a thing!!! Grrr... - and then it took the train 2 hours to get me home... cause the d*rn people can't seem to figure it out, and handle the fact that IT CAN SNOWS IN DECEMBER!!! - it's still snowing... - which will mate it hard for me and my mom to get into the capital tomorrow for another stage play to see. This book was much better than Princess Diaries. Almost to the point, where I somewhere question if it's written by the same person. But in the next moment the story becomes so random, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Still, this may be the best teen story I read in a long while. The book is about 16 year old Jean Honeychurch had problems home in Iowa that she wants to escape. So she moves to her Aunt's family in New York. But it seems still here trouble follows - so the name Jinx sticks with her - even to the point where her cousin, Tory thinks she is a witch. Not only that, but she believes that she is one too, and scares some of their school-mates with her spells. It becomes a war between cousins as Zack - most handsome guy in school - shows interest in Jean, while Tory wants him for herself. So... the basic idea is good. It is even written good, so I read the whole book in a hour or so. But I really had problems with this witch part. First Jean is so against even the word 'WITCH', but then it turns out, she was into dark cult for a long time, making her look quite a hypocrite, looking down on Tory, who believes in her powers. Then this 'I fear my powers, so it made me cursed... that's why I have bad luck all the time'. Sure. It isn't because she actually waits for the bad stuff to happen, or is naturally clumsy as a teen, believing all the time to have the worst luck of all. ~_~" With the end I had the most problems. It really seems like Zack is the only 'normal' character in this story, since Tory becomes quite a scary tactician, Jean accepts her 'powers' and believes strongly that it really helped her to call for help, while Zack thinks the most naturally that it was by chance that he was there at the right time. Another problem was, that it ended so quick. Like the writer didn't actually know how to finish, so she just wrote something typical. ~~ Tags: book, thoughts

This was a busy weekend, that's for sure. First on Saturday I needed to go to the Asia Center with my brother, to help him choosing clothes, and buy his Xmas presents. He basicly chased me though the though building (T__T), wanting to be on time in his crazy weekend-planning. Then we got back home, only to get back to the capital with mom as our driver... to the IKEA. As for the trip there: my brother is a zero in navigation, and the traffic in Budapest is really crazy, so all I can say is: tooth-whitening! If you don't understand, believe me, you don't even want to. Then in the IKEA both me and my mom were chased by my brother again, still wanting to be on time... we got lost on the way to the apartment again where we put the furniture down, and then asked mom to put us down at the meet. After a bit of thinking I'm a bit sorry that I didn't go with her... I was really dead tired. About a hour later then was so tired already that I went home with the train. On the way there though I made my brother buy a little present for mom - since she collects angels, I choose a little glass angel, that lights in different colors ^^ - as a thank you for the crazy drive. Thanks to Minami I've got the 3rd book of Princess Diaries, and read it on Saturday. What to say? After the first book the 3rd was such as bad for me as the second, if not worse. T___T The character of Mia gets more and more repulsive. This 'Ah I'm in love, but this guy seems to like me, so I don't want to hurt him, but I'm still in love with someone else, so I'll not let him kiss me to much, making going out with him more and more hurtful for him, and still wait for the time he'll break up with me, cause then I don't need to hurt him, and will be free for the guy I love, who seems to already have a girlfriend... so maybe I should still stay the girlfriend of the guy who likes me, cause if we break up, I would be alone again, and that would be really awkward in the light that all my friends have boyfriends, and now I don't even think about my boyfriends feelings, who loves me truly, but think more that if I'm a model for something, than my payment should go for the Green Peace...' thing really irritates the Hell out of me. And Minami... you could have told me the truth about the 'thing' happening on the 3rd page - and not on the 6th - from the back. I would have read it so or so, since I'm interested why so many people seem to like this book. And I'll read every other book ou give me, so don't worry about that! ^^ I'm happy about any rec... you shouldn't be bothered by the fact that I bitch about the book. It's nothing against you. ^^ Then Sunday came. And at first I thought this will be peaceful. But in the afternoon then my brother asked me to help him move, since it was already dark outside, and mom doesn't like to drive at night. So I dressed, and was already in the mood to carry lots of stuff, when my mom told, that she WILL bring us in with the car... So we got in - this time our getting lost didn't last for more than 5 minutes, and a little damage of the car, as we drove over some border - and after 2 rounds of up and down had everything in the room. So this time going back it was just me and mom. It was about 21 by the time we got back, and after a warm bath we watched Bambi. Can be, cause I see it with other eyes now, than I did as a child, but I just thought that Disney made this film really strange. It had some abstract stuff in it, that made me wonder 'was this really in it, or did I watch a shorter version in the past?'. ~~" Then I realized that most of the Disney animations ARE strange. In Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast the prince doesn't even have a name! In Cinderella's ending he is even drawn as part of the background for a while. Saturday Minami gave me the 2nd book of Princess Diaries... Sadly I didn't like this at all. First of all, the fact that she talks so random on an interview, telling about private stuff, and then even talking out the family secrets... and her mom isn't angry at all. Yeah, Mia. You're a princess, and still need time to progress the info, together with the fact that I shake with your algebra teacher, so it's absolutely no problem that you talk about our baby on tv. T___T I really don't get this attitude. OK, I can accept the fact that with 15 Mia's head is full of not fitting in, and wanting a boyfriend... but just because someone confessed, you shouldn't just nod and go out with him. Not, if you have someone you like!!! You know, this part really made me remember high school days. I was quite an outsider, the bookworm kind. I was always hanging around the library in my free time, reading 7 books a day (cause I could only borrow this much at once X3). And yes, someone still confessed to me. A~nd I said no. Why? Cause I didn't feel anything for that person, and didn't want to lie to him. Going out with someone you don't like isn't kind... it's cruel. Not to say, I wasn't this 'let's try it out' type, more of the serious kind. Even so, if there was a party, disco and I wanted to go I could. Had my girl friends, or went alone... you really don't need a guy to have fun! ^^ That's why I really don't understand. It seems as if you're American - I'm sorry and don't take it the wrong way - a girl would go out with anyone as long as she is alone. At last this is all I see in every story, film. This was my problem with The Ghost of Girlfriends Past. Girl liked the guy, but went with the most popular and then made out with him, cause her friends were telling her it's cool!?! Hello, do you even think there? These stories really drag down the rumors of the country. And I really hold onto the hope it's not the same in reality. I really hope the next book will be better, cause this was only good for a head shaking. T___T Tags: book, thoughts

Thanks to Minami, from whom I borrowed the book I could read the 1st from The Princess Diaries. Though at first I was a bit unsure about it, since I saw the movie, and thought after that the book will turn out boring, but it was so NOT the case! After just the first page I was already laughing - note to myself: reading on the train one shouldn't do that much - since the language was so 'teen', freaking out over every little thing, overreacting and not checking major things that would make her life more easy. Whaaa~... This is really a good book if you want to smile a lot. ^^ What I don't get though is, why Disney changed the story this much. With Mia's dads and grandmothers character at first I couldn't sign peace, till I realized I should handle the book as a different story. (Well, I usually do that, but this time I just wanted to resemble the two stories.) After that it was easy to see them the same way Mia does. Not to say, I got charmed by Michael so easy! =*.*= At my age it isn't so easy anymore - and Kazehaya is really making Michael run for his money - but he is really such a sweetheart. Not to say the fact, that he is like that while being a teen! ^.^ 100$ / day for Greenpeace. XD Tags: book, disney, thoughts, usamovie

Well, this weekend was for the dogs again... First of all, I'm glad to tell to those, who were worried, that I'm feeling better after Friday. So no matter, if it was a bug, or maybe an overdose of Vitamin C, I'm over it. Thanks to that I went to shopping on Saturday. Bought some little stuff for my Mom's birthday. We plan to buy something together with my brother, but a little something next to it will not hurt. Or I just simply will give it to her on Xmas. XD Oh! And I bought an air fresher, thought to try out this Ambi Pur brand. Only as I got home did I realize, that the seller didn't put it on the bill. So that's why I thought I payed so little! - I thought. X3 Next to that I bought tickets for the operetta, to go with my mom in December. Since I had two extra, I gave them to Minami and Luluko. Hehehe, they seemed quite surprised that I just gave them off... X3 Bought two Poirot dvd's again... but to tell the truth, they were all a disappointment. ~~" Wasps Nest was the worst of all. Poirot just tricked an old friend of his, to ruin his desperate plan, and then say with a smile "you my friend, will only stay a killer deep in your mind..." Oh, please. ~~" The Plymouth Express I already read. To tell the truth the book was so much better. Not only did they re-think the story - and make the case closing unbelievable - but even the acting was lame. Like the actors actually know what a bull they were playing. Hercule Poirot's Christmas was a story I think I already saw in the series Murder, she wrote... Even if this wants to be a complicated story, and I know that it's just a tv series, so they have a time limit for everything, but this time Murder, she wrote actually wins over Poirot. Sunday I had a sleep-in day again. Then I woke up to Zeus cuddling into my stomach. It was so sweet, made me all happy. ^^ In other news Yuuki and Xira seem to have a competition going on for the attention of Zeus... and I guess, us. They don't seem to realize that with Zeus... well, that he can't really answer their expectations. ^^" But it's good to see that they seem to have come to an agreement, and play together just for the fun of it. It's another cute scene to watch. ^^ Then for the day we saw The Count of Monte Cristo and The Man in the Iron Mask, both with Richard Chamberlain as the main. This guy is really ideal for the main character in Dumas dramas. XD To tell the truth though, I can't take the Iron Mask serious as a film. The Count of Monte Christo - while shorter than the other remake of the Dumas story - has it's good points. For example here is a scene where Dantes learns from his friend in the prison while they dig, and how he thinks about who actually got him to the castle of If. Here the father of Dantes died of hunger... in the other the owner of the ship Edward was 2nd in command helped his father to have at last a normal life. Then the character of Cadrus (hope I wrote that one right) here is a young stealer - in the other an older snoop guy. Little things like that can make a lot of difference in a story if they come together. This was in a way quite a lucky day - seeing it from after work at last. Since we had quite some time till the musical, we went to the bookstore with mom to kill the time. And what a good decision it was! I found the 2nd volume of Bride of the Water God (next to two other books ^^"), from which I thought that it's out of print, and couldn't order from anywhere!!! I know that there is a 3rd volume out, but I have still time to order that next month. This though... I was hunting for this volume for 2 months now! So me=happy. ^____^ Then as we got to the operetta, there was some season-closing event of a café... and since they didn't make a secret out of it, we could see it just fine from the other side of the street. ^^ This got us into the right mood for the musical. The story itself wasn't good. You could image what a story is like, when spun though songs. The actors did great, though, and this was the first time that I could hear every word that they sang, no matter if high or low tones. The cast was great! We had luck to see Szulák Andrea and Csepregi Éva - the vocal of Neoton - in one scene. Those women singing together... WOW. That was great! The director was the same as by the stages I saw before in the operetta, so you can image what I thought of that. ~~" Another thing, that with acting they gave the songs a totally new meaning. Like for example the song I linked in before, "Till Tomorrow Dawn" is a lilt... here at first became a sad good bye, and then a song for revolutionists, to stop their moves at last "Till Tomorrow Dawn". It's late already, and I'm tired so good night everyone! Tags: book, manhwa, programs, stage play

First of the books I got to read from the bunch. Don't be surprised, 600 pages in 2 days isn't so bad, I think... The story is about Wallander, a detective, who begins to investigate the case of his partners, Svedberg's dead, and finding a picture from lost kids in his apartment begins to handle the two as one case. The sittuation gets more complicated, as the 3 teens are all found in a nature reservation, dead, dressed in 18th century clothes, arranged like on a picnick of another time, with food, and wine in their glasses... reeking after rotting for weeks... Well, my first thought was, that if the police really handles cases like this, I can understand why so many home guards are formed, and how so many people can belive in self-justice. If only the cases of the lost kids would have been handled with more care, if the police would have taken a worried mother more serius - and not only by Svedberg - a few of the murders could have been averted. ~~" My other thought comes from the end of the book. How I see it, if a writer wants to be successful, he really shouldn't write things into it, that makes one feel ashamed, or irritated that they bought his book. My only comfort comes from the fact, that I got this book as a bargain. Tags: book, thoughts

It's only the 3rd day of my diet, but I already have my 'hate' day from all 4. There is this crazy rule what to eat on every day: 1. day protein (meat, mushroom, fish, etc.), 2. day starch (every vegetable), 3. day carbohydrate (every paste, cake, sugar), 4. day fruit (fruit in all quantity)... Now, I don't have a problem with protein of any kind (well except milk products, since I'm sensitive to them ~~"), and haven't meet anyone who would hate paste or cake of some kind, and the same with fruits. And the best is, that you can really choose what to eat, and the different varieties helps not to make it boring. BUT vegetables. Ugh... You know I first thought there will be no problems, since I'm usually all for it, but this time everything had just the same taste, and after a while it felt like chewing on paper. T___T Since it's all starch, even from a little you feel full, but while it did happen, I still felt the need to eat. You know the feeling? Just having lunch, needing to loosen your belt, and still thinking 'ah, now a chocolate cake!'. ^^" I'm really NOT happy with the signals my body gives me... since I learned quick, that if I want to eat something it's cause my body needs it. I was surprised that I always wanted to eat poppy paste, tomatoes and hazelnut, till the doc told me that I have distressingly little iron in my blood. Lucky for me, that the last blood-test was good, so no worries there. Since it's the day for cake now anyway, I'll look what happens. Maybe after 3-4 turns of this diet, if I still have the feeling I'll stop. It's really not good if one doesn't listen to body signals. In another news... I bought books again. It's all Sol's fault! He took us to the Alexandra Bookstore on the day of the con, and since then in this two weeks I was there 2 times already... and always bought something. Yesterday then I went home with 10 kg plus. ~~" Not that books are a bad thing, but my purse shouldn't be the one that gets slim. (^.^) Tags: book, health, thoughts Current Mood: moody

My last holiday weekend, and I spend it quite eventful. The original plan was to watch dramas and animes I didn't had the time to see till now, but somehow I always got something else to do, so that didn't really work. ^___^" On Friday I was in the Amusement Park with friends. It was really fun! We went with everything we could. Sadly there where a few rides that we could have only tried as an escort to little kids. A shame... those seemed fun too! (Just a note: I did make some pictures, but the website of the Amusement Park is made so well, not only with pictures, but videos too, so I'll link the site of the games, for those who are interested.) First we went on Break Dance with Évi. It's a fun way to start! And all that retro music! they play to it!!! You just need to LOVE that X3 Second was the Roller coaster. How I know it's the only in Europe, that's made of wood, and is still working. It's not a scary ride... only if you think about the fact that it's made in the 20's. X3 By that time Timi and Betti arrived to, and so we all 4 went to ride on Ikarus. Before Friday I watched the home page of the Amusement Park and already watched this game... Well, it wasn't like I thought it would be. It's more of a panorama-view, like a ferris-wheel, then an actual game. Went into the Horror house too... Sadly there are no links on the site... maybe cause it was one of the rides that you need to pay in extra (usually for every game the armband-ticket is enough)... so here are pictures of it made by me. Sadly inside I couldn't use my cam. Well, from here on, I'm afraid I will just randomly write about what we went on, since I don't remember the order. There was the Sinuous. That's another oldie, made in 1925... but so fun! It seems a bit childish, but by the corners it spins you out quite well! ^^ Then the Ferris-wheel... this is really only for the awesome panorama-view. You can bring your cam and make great shoots there. Went both with the Tower and Hip-Hop. If I want to be honest, I must say, that at first I only wanted to try Hip-Hop... since I wasn't on a game like this before. But it was fun enough to get me a taste of it so I tried the higher Tower too. The Carousel is a MUST for everyone!!! This game is a national monument, made in 1906(!). You can actually feel history while riding these. We got on it twice. ^^ As for Top Spin... I sat on that already in German once, but how I remember as we were hanging there upside down, the water came up, and I could actually touch it. Here, there was not even a chance, that I could even feel it. T___T It would have been great in that hot weather. Top Scan is a really great ride... a shame that I and Évi destroyed it. ~.~" At last this was the feeling we got from the operator. This is what happened: we sat on the ride and where on it for about a minute... when the operator stoped the ride - with us 5 meter above the ground - and told that it just goes to low for it to be safe, and so we need to get down. Actually a hour later we saw that it's working again, but didn't want to get the same experience again so we passed. A shame... it was really the most exciting game in the park! Got to the cave-railway too. It tells a famous Hungarian story, János vitéz (valiant)... though the end is changed from the actual story a bit. Etto... there was this boat... ah, found it! Tale-boat. The funny thing here that the ones before us got stuck, and so we rammed them to make them move again. X3 Went on the Roller coaster again, and after the Bewitched Castle - only left out the butt at the end - tried the new ride, Spinning Coaster. It was fun, and the best is to sit to the back, that way you'll not know what comes next. ^^ After Spinning Coaster then me and Évi went on Flying Circus. After Top Scan it was the best ride ever... and made me realize that I'm not to become an artiste. All that upside down hanging made me a bit wary. @_@ For last we went on the Carousel again... and already we spend 6 hours there, even I got a bit dizzy so we called it a day there. After coming home I began to re-watch Ai nante irane yo, Natsu with Watabe Atsuro (<3). Ahhh, I really love this guy! This time he isn't playing a really good guy, more like a person who got hurt once, and decided that love is not needed in his life. And then he meets a blind girl - whom he wants to fool in saying that he is her brother, and take her money to pay a fence - and realizes that she thinks the same way he does. But if she has no hope, he can't really fool her, so he plays his role so well... that he begins to have hope, and feels love again. The ending gave me such an "AAAAH" feeling... I just can't explain it. It's just an ending where I don't know if I should be happy, or run into a wall. Saturday the re-watch ended, and I got to Budapest (capital) sooner than usual. The anime-meet has not began yet, so I went to a book-store... and bought some books again. Ah, last week tainted me into buying again!!! The only one I've got to read today was I, Hobbyt by Zizi Renard... After reading the sum I thought it would be a Lord of the Rings parody, and since I don't really like the story (sorry for the fans, it really is just my thinking), so I thought to get a good laugh... it turned out not to be. Sure, there are some things that made me remember LotR... but it is written in such a random way, mixing Harry Potter, Forest Gump, famous singers, etc. into it... somehow I couldn't wait for it to end. If someone of my friends at the meet want it, I'll give it gladly to anyone who asks (sorry but it's in Hungarian, so I don't think anyone else would want it anyway). Szóval ha valakit érdekel, jelezzétek és szívesen odaadom a könyvet!Tags: *pictures, @home, ai nante iraneyo natsu, book, health, hungary, jdrama, programs, watabe atsuro, weather

Forgot to mention that at the Animecon I could expand my collection again. First, I bought two Animestars magazines that I still missed... Now the only ones I don't have are #01, and #02. Yeeey for that. ^^ In my plan to decorate my bag, I bought 8 - I repeat eight - badges... which gave me a totally unnecessary "freak" comment from my brother. ~.~" Still I love how my bag begins to look like now... with 4 different Sakuragi badges, a One Piece, a Totoro, a Rozen Maiden and a GTO one... on the strap a cute Teppei-chan. ^^ Oh, and a badge of Opatija by the side. Now the things I still can't find anywhere are Arashi, Jun and Ohno badges, and a cool one from Oguri Shun would be nice too. Sadly these things don't seem to have such a culture that they would sell it in Hungary. ~.~" Bought two volumes of Deep Love manga - the 2nd from Ayu no Monogatari - and a first book (or maybe just one volume? didn't have the time to check it out yet) from another Deep Love story... not the host one, thought, but with another girl. After the con on Saturday I went to bookshops to spend time with my brother and Sol. First we went to Libry then to Alexandra. There then I found two books: The Pillow Boy by Alison Fell - from which I can't write much, since my mom put her hands on it the moment I came home with it ^_^" - and the other was a book about ninjas by Ashida Kim. What made me surprised was that he writes actuall technices how one can protect herself with ninja methods. Though calling "retching" an art is really beyond my understanding, there are a few things that every normal person could use as self-defense. Tags: book, hungary, manga, thoughts

So my 2nd book to read was Shopgirl by Steve Martin. After I read some info about it I thought it should be interesting. Something really could have come out of the basic... Mirabelle sells gloves and lives a grey, monotonic life. Then one day she meets the 20 year older Ray, who is so rich, he can't think what to spend his money anymore. They are drawn to eachother and begin a love-affair, while none of them knows what love really is. This story could have made a really beautiful book about human relationships and try to get closer to what love really is... but reality isn't so gracious. While Steve Martin can be an awesome actor... trying himself as a writer wasn't a good idea at all. My brother tells me, he can't write cause he is a good actor... who knows? I mean to both you need talent... but while you can be a star at one, you shouldn't just try yourself with the other cause by the first you had talent. The publisher know that too... That's why Steve Martins picture is on the cover, together with his imaginary character, Mirabelle. So, I'm guessing his books are sold... cause of his face. Yeah, reality can be cruel. ~.~ The only good part in the book was as Mirabelle gets the gloves that Ray bought by her as a present, with a card that says "I would like to have dinner with you...". This was a part where I 'AWWW'-ed once. But if I ask anyone about their romantic dreams or the best part they can remember in their love-life I would get more intensive scenes, not only in quantity but quality too. Tags: book, steve martin

A lot of people don't think much after hearing the name Gárdonyi Géza, the first that comes to mind is his work, Egri Csillagok, required reading in grade school about turkish offense against Castle Eger. Since that one is a long, serious book not much look into his other works. Well, I did. :D Not many know, but for cash he wrote light&fun stories (the Göre Gábor series). Truth be told: he wasn't proud of them. The spelling is horrible (purposely), the characters dumb and selfish. Still on a bad day it can make your day reading one of the Göre Gábor volumes. The story is always about Göre Gábor judge (something like a mayor in his village) his brother in law Durbints, and a gipsy. One volume is about them visiting the World Fair in Paris, another about going to America, etc. In every part they pump the village's money and reading their adventures one can watch big happenings with the eyes of stupids. Allmost all stories are separated, but I guess one should know about each character before reading it, and you need to get used to the spelling and grammar there, or you will not understand a word. For example the in law Durbints has a saying "ö.m.a.f." that is the short version of 'ögye mög a fene' ('damn it' in old village-style). I needed to read 3 books to get to this knowledge, since the first two only had the short version. XD Then there is the judge, Göre Gábor, who always looks for ways to have bites of everything he hears about, and if he already has a bite, then it should be a big one, if not the biggest. The chapters in each book are most writen like he writes a letter to the village or the village teacher. One of his habits is to end it with "to which I wish you the same"... This one line can have quite a mixed meaning if for example he writes it just after he told about how they were beaten by someone. XD The gipsy is quite the character. He is looking to have anything that the rich have, steals and begs a lot, but there are times that his acting saves the other two... so they always take him to their adventures. XD The volume 'No még öggyet' is the 10th book, this time with short stories about the characters and the village. Just in hungarian here is the first page of the book. Sorry, but since the grammar and spelling are purposely horrible and even in village dialect, I can't translate that: GÁRDONYI GÉZA NO MÉG ÖGGYET
