Okay... so I saw the first part of Meteor Shower. Really don't know if I should laugh, cry, or just book it as my first cdrama-fail. T___T

Thanks to my f-list (dangermousie  & mycutykoala ) I got to see the trailer of the upcomming cdrama: Meteor Shower.

My thoughts, well:

The F4... look the worst I have ever seen. T___T You have been warned!!!
But if I'm looking on the bride side: this way I think they actually NEED to ACT if they want to make this series popular, so I have still a bit of hope.

Makino... looks surprisingly beautiful. Not even in the 'normal' category, more like the unique beauty. Or is that just me again?

The video in general made me unhappy, frustrated even. Seeing this many spoilers, it took the mood of watching. Why bother, if I have already seen them? The rain scene, the baseball game, and the necklace giving are all in it. That was a disappointment.

About the story I already read before. That was the only thing that made me watch this in the first place, and lucky that still didn't change. I mean this time there is really a purpose for Makino being in an elite school. And she doesn't only make friends with the F4 (how I heard they are called H4 now >_>;;;;) but give them their own reason for being there too. I like character development and this sounds like it will have lots of it, so I'm (still) looking forward to it. ^^

Just read some spoilers for the Chinese HanaDan.

I already know, that three of F4 will fall in love with Tsukushi, so Doumyouji, Rui, and Soujiro. What was new was that Rui will have his own love-triangle (maybe since Soujiro falls for Tsukushi, he'll get together with Yuki... or Shigeru perhaps?).
But the greatest news was the fact that Akira will be in love with Tsubaki (Doumyouji's older sister)!!! Don't know who thought about that, but it's brilliant. She is older - how I know by 6 years - and married, so it's still the cathegory Akira's character likes. But I smell tragic there.

This adaptation makes me a bit uneasy, cause - while I'm happy for the new twists - I'm not watching any chinese dramas, so I don't even know what to expect in general. So now comes the blind mans saying: 'We'll see.'

Who remembers that there were rumors about a Chinese version of Hana yori Dango? At that time Shueisha denied it, saying that they don't accept any new HanaDan remakes for two years after the kdrama. But it seems China will still make it, defending with the fact that they change so much of the story that it's still a GO. Thanks to rectherapyfreak  , who gave me the info about it and this community: hydchina .
Hearing about the story itself I do find it a good one. Since they change much, I don't think I'll see it as another HanaDan remake, but more just a romantic drama. Now that I think about it, maybe I should have done that with the kdrama too. ~.~"
