Hino Emu, a young artist becomes a witness to a murder. The killer is the legendary Crying Freeman, master assassin of the 108 Dragons, a Chinese crime syndicate. After killing he introduces himself to Emu, which means that she will be the next victim. But alone and lonely for a long time now the women isn't afraid of death and only wishes to be loved once by her killer before she dies. But something unexpected happens: her beauty and character capture the assassin's heart...

Don't really know what to think of this. There are places where I think 'ah, so this is how a crime syndicate is working!' but then there are some bizarre parts which just give me goose-flesh. u.u
The whole first volume is about the lovers meeting, and then about how the man became Crying Freeman. While the first seems like a love-story shounen-style, the second part has some secret training of shaolin~.
The second volume is all about him already acepting the fact that he'll become the next leader of the syndicate, and moving like the head he is. In both volumes I found something that leaves a strange after-taste in my mouth, and still I somehow just read on... so it does have it's own magic... just not for everyone. ^^"
