Bought the newest Mondo yesterday. The best part in it? The first Death Note dvd was the extra to it! This is like a dream come true. 10 years ago I couldn't even image just going into a normal kiosk and buy anime... And now I could, that isn't even Pokémon or Dragon Ball. (Not that I have problems with those, but Death Note isn't an everyday anime...)
And the best was as I turned the magazine around on the backside was a spread about Detective Conan going on Animax from next week on! You know what this means? It means that it will come out on dvd too! Well, I don't know how much episodes they bought from the five hundred and about thirty (?) that were already shown in Japanese tv, but still, it's a beginning! Oh, I only hope they got the 50th (if I remember right) where Conan turns back into Shinichi and solves a case that way. One of my favorite parts! <3

The film chronicles the last 23 days of L's life, as he solves one final case (next to the case of Kira) involving a bioterrorist group that aims to wipe out much of humanity with a virus. In connection to the case, he takes a boy, the sole survivor of its use in a village in Thailand, and a junior high schooler named Maki Nikaido under his wing.
